I am extremely honored that I was asked to be a judge for the 2010 scripting games! I’m looking forward to seeing some entries by the NYC PUG’ers. While I can’t exhibit favoritism I expect NYC to represent! In case you are not aware of the scripting games here’s a quick rundown of what you need to know:
It runs from April 26th to May 7th
Every day you will have a new event in your division (beginner or advanced). You will set about scripting the solution. You will then be judged and graded so that you can see how you stand overall compared to other competitors.
There will be big prizes including passes to Tech Ed.
It’s a great opportunity to learn by doing and seeing. After you take the time to tackle the day’s event you will be able to see how others approach the same criteria. You’ll even get to read some in-depth articles from some Powershell masters about how they looked at the problem to come up with their solution.
